"Arkansas Lady Sparks Mission"

To offer an amateur youth girls basketball program on the foundation of volunteerism and to extend such a program to all youth for the purpose of promoting good sportsmanship and reputable citizenship; and, for the identification and development of skills through athletic endeavors. The Arkansas Lady Sparks organization shall manifest its mission by:

A. Conducting varied programs that are geared toward the teaching, enhancement, and strengthening of basketball skills for amateur athletes in and outside of competitive action.
B. Coordinating efforts with other organizations to identify or create activities that will benefit amateur athletes and to determine new ways to promote good characteristics in these athletes.
C. Sponsoring recognition programs for outstanding amateur athletes who exhibit commendable leadership skills, high moral character and good sportsmanship in and around sporting events and environment.
D. To protect and promote the mutual interests of its members and to maintain good liaison with its associates.

This corporation is organized as an amateur youth girls basketball club exclusively for educational purposes and to foster local, regional and national amateur athletics competition within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code ( as amended), including for such purposes, the making of distributions to the organization, which are recognized as exempt from tax under section 501(c)(3) of the I.R.S. code of 1986, as now enacted or hereafter amended. All funds, whether income or principal, and whether acquired by gift or contributions or otherwise, shall be devoted to said purposes.
